Local-first expense tracking
Know where it went, without handing anyone your bank.
Centgenie is a spending ledger that lives entirely in your browser. No account, no upload, no sync you did not ask for — a real SQLite database on your own device, and a keypad fast enough that you actually use it.
Nothing to install. Nothing to sign up for. Works offline.
Built around the two minutes you will actually spend on it
-
It never leaves your device
Entries live in a SQLite database in your browser. There is no server copy to breach, no bank connection to authorise, and no account to delete later.
-
Plus, number, Enter
The amount takes the keyboard the moment the screen opens. Tab reaches the note, Enter saves. Logging a coffee costs about three seconds.
-
One screen, two readings
The same week as a single total or as a chart, and the list below it as transactions or as categories. Week, month, year, year-to-date.
-
Yours to take with you
Export a JSON backup that restores everything, or a CSV your spreadsheet understands. Import goes the other way — most bank exports go in as they stand.
-
A nudge, if you want one
An optional daily reminder, sent to your browser and nobody else. It knows that somebody asked for it and nothing else about you.
-
Works with the lights off
Offline, on a plane, on a train in a tunnel. Everything it needs is already downloaded, because everything it needs is already yours.
There is nothing to sign up for.
Open it, type a number, and see where the week went.
